Why Nortevant exists
Plugging in the TV once left my grandparents thinking I was a tech wizard. It made us laugh, but it showed me a gap between generations that I've always wanted to bridge.
After my A Levels I worked in a job full of spreadsheets, manual data entry and document formatting. I kept wondering if there was an easier way, one that left more time for work that needs a person. Then ChatGPT arrived, and I went to Leeds Beckett University for a degree that focused heavily on AI.
My last module asked whether humans could become obsolete. It made me determined to prove that wrong, with education and hope. AI should inspire and empower people in the jobs they already have.
That's why I started Nortevant: not to push AI onto people, but to help teams understand it and bring it in only where it's appropriate, keeping the human touch that makes your business yours.
